Game Review 1 : The Bard’s Tale: A Quest for Coin and Cleavage
Did you like Day of the Tentacle ? Did you like Sam & Max ? Did you like Planescape: Torment ? Did you like Diablo ? Darkstone ? Leisure Suit Larry ? Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis ? Daggerfall ? Morrowind ? Eye of the Beholder ? Lands of Lore ? Monkey Island ? Shrek [the movie] ? Lula ? Outrun ?
Well “The Bard’s Tale: A Quest for Coin and Cleavage” is a bit like all of them, mixed up together. Well, except Outrun. But anyway if you really like only one of the above, don’t play Bard’s Tale. If you liked them all, play it!. You will not find a deep plot, you will not find a deep rpg system. But you’ll find hours of irony and good laughs

Goody - the Remake
I was searching remakes and/or emulators of old games when I stumbled upon the remake of Goody from Opera Soft. It’s a kinda hard game and is practically the first game I had on my 286 back in 1989 (after pacman and chess). The remake has very good graphics and a slightly revised gameplay (with an energy bar and 5 lives, instead of some absurd amount of 15 lives of the original) and you can download it here. Highly recommended if you want to play a good platform game. Especially recommended if you lost hour on the CGA version on a 286 processor and you really want to see it in groovy SVGA on an Athlon 64. Can’t wait the X2.
